Thanks. Not long after getting that one I came across a very nice '74 GT.
It also had a V8 and 5-speed, but was nothing like the really fun one. The engine was stock, it had A/C, a radio, and was very quiet. I referred to that one as my old man's car.
It looked great, and I put real wire...
It's better because you can go places with one, without worrying about where to find charging stations, or bringing a generator on a trailer.
How much quicker or faster a Plaid is, that's something I couldn't care less about. And thanks to the election results it doesn't look like I'll have to...
I nominate my Q5. Mostly because I really missed the Challenger GT AWD it replaced, but the touch screen didn't exactly impress me - not that I like any touch screens. Fun little car, but, it was sold with maybe 600 miles on it.
It was replaced with another GT AWD, which I'm not getting rid of...
With that one, the model year is an interesting story.
It was built with a '69 tub as those offered a larger transmission tunnel, but with the metal dash that wasn't offered in the USA after the '67 model year.
Then there were noises about even more stringent emission regulations in...
Had quite a few MGBs. My first and third cars were Bs, and later I had a relapse. This one being the most fun, void of SU carbs, heater, radio, and other unnecessary things.
Low weight and a bit over 300 hp with a 5-speed made it a blast to drive, plus it was quite low key. No V8 enblems or...
No, I had a lowly Q5 between two GT AWDs, but she's had a Q3, a couple of Q5s, the RS6Avant, and one each Q8, SQ8, and RSQ8. All in fairly rapid succession.
And you'll never guess what her favorite color is.
Nah. They're biased against me.
Submitted a nice photo a couple of years ago, then did the honest thing and explained that the photo was staged. Apparently two rights can make a wrong.
When picking up an ordered Audi SQ8 I noticed that it didn't have fog lights like her previous Q8 did.
Mentioned it to the salesman who said "With these LED HID headlights there's no need for fog lights". Okay, I said, not about to argue about the usefulness of fog lights' lower position, or...
As long as I can hang onto my drivers license, the 'Cat stays.
I've had many cars I really, really liked, but the Challenger is special in several ways.
Of all things, the TRX. Keep in mind that I don't like 1/2-tons and don't care for how the new ones look, but...
After trailering my girlfriend's home and looking at the hardware underneath I was very impressed. A-arms and such looked like they belonged on a 3/4 or 1-ton. Everything was much...
Order up some magnetic level plugs (I have been using Votex from Amazon) so you can put them in when checking the levels and/or changing the fluid. Oh, and on the positive side, my '23 Durango 6.2 was the only vehicle out of quite a few over the years that actually had correct fluid levels as...
