What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Okay, so incorrect mounting will make a perfectly balanced wheel and tire not run true. There's a number of reasons why that may be the reason for vibrations. And while the wheel style in my profile picture was still alive and well (up to '23 as far as I know), when I got my '18 they weren't...

    Banned friends.

Keep in mind that I wasn't around to deal with moonies. Instead I had to mingle with blue eyed blondes that rarely knew how to say no, despite not using any drugs.

Wow. That has to be a record for premature ejac... Ah, never mind.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Were they correctly balanced on a machine with road force capabilities, and that was recently calibrated, plus operated by a competent person? If "yes" to those question, was the Smart Weight function turned off? If even a single one was a "no", all bets are off and I would expect vibrations.

Report the issues and BULL might fix it...at some point. Or not.

    Evaporation

Uh, oh. I wouldn't use the washer until you have verified that they didn't add ATF or brake fluid to it.

    Evaporation

I'm about to fill the rear reservoir on my tractor for at least the second time. Being out in the open it's easy enough to see what the level is, and it seems to lose its contents about every five years. Nope, have never used the washer. And I think it was the '18 Challenger that told me the...

Need New Opinions On Tires Please

Far from all Cooper tires are made in the USA. And I have no idea why they would have anything to do with Nexen tires.

Need New Opinions On Tires Please

The worst I can remember were the Nexens that came on my '17 Ram. They were quiet and rode well, but the best part was that they started coming apart with about 20,000 miles on them, which was a perfect excuse to switch to Toyos. And it wasn't just my tires, many others had the same experience...

Need New Opinions On Tires Please

Can't be much worse than the Firehawk Indy 500s are in snow. Actually, I know they're not.

What did Stellantis do to a bunch of Jeeps Today? or at least recently...

Doesn't mean that those of us that are unelectrified won't be next.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

You're shitting me, right? Whoda thunk there would be heat and humidity (or alligators) in Florida.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I never understood why they build the tracks on mountaintops in Florida.

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

Except in my case the river is much closer than any creeks.

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

Part of the story of getting the RePete from SoCal that I may not have mentioned; Had left here early Wednesday and on Sunday evening I stopped in Flagstaff, AZ, on the way home. After having parked for the night and made the bed in the sleeper I thought "Hmm, they usually have food at truck...

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

Would you believe that I drove 450 miles to a place that does? Of course, they also have stoplights and other crap there - and not just the Charger.

    New Muscle Announced 8/8/2025?

I finally saw one...on a dealer lot. They can't seem to get rid of it. Now I just hope my car didn't get infected by being parked next to it.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Except for the first few gear sets I've bought, they've all come with instructions for the break-in. And they differ a little between manufacturers, so I've taken the most cautious approach by using the most miles, lowest speeds, most heat cycles, etc., basically creating my own formula for...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

So? Have you ever read the gear break-in procedures recommended by gear manufacturers and larger resellers? As it happens, today I took the first 20-mile drive (at lower speeds) to get the first of several work hardening cycles done in my new Durango. That'll be followed by four or five more...
