I wanted black strips but ended up with red as I couldn't find a similar equipped cat with the black stripes for the right price. They have grown on me though. Don't see many. The black stripped car with red accents in post 5 looks killer!

I like red stripes on white. Less common than black.

Just have to find the right red. That is key in making it look right. I have seen it with a 1/2 gap and I have seen it butt up next to each other like this pic. I like it both ways more personal preference.

I think having something to contrast on the white car works well. Have you considered a black pinstripe boardering the red stripes? It's kind of like looking at a picture as compared to same one in a frame. You could try it on a section with the tape stripes available at most parts places.

The red stripes are unique! Would love to see you experiment with some different color pinstripes...black, dark blue, really dark red, etc. I've seen the factory option TK has posted in person. The red was darker and had a metallic thing going on, was really sharp!

This is not what I'm suggesting, I like full length stripes on my cars. However, I couldn't ask for a better pic to demonstrate what TK was mentioning about spacing of the pinstripe.

Red on the outside edges or both outside and inside looks good with black stripes.

Me...I likes it tight and butting up, like the red inner stripe, but on the outside edge only.

If you do have them done, make sure whoever does it is top notch. You don’t want 1/32 shrinkage on the lines after 6 months in sun/heat. It may leave a thin line of glue that’s a pita to get off.

I believe the Charger actually looks better with stripes than the Challenger...every time I see a Charger with stripes...you can spot it a mile away...
