Trunk lid tail LED tail lights out

Anyone else have an issue with the LEDs out on the trunk lid? A new MOPAR trunk lid tail light bar part is $800. I have to think I can find a better fix. Maybe open the housing and install aftermarket LED strip? Has anyone had this issue or opened the trunk lid housing? Scouring the internet hasn’t turned up much. Open to ideas.

Take it to the dealership for warranty. Our '18 Challenger did the same thing. Noticed moisture in there for a few weeks then the top half of your circle went out. They are replacing ours so doesn't hurt to see. Parts are suppose to be here around the 10th

Yes... if it's under wty... for sure take it to the dealer. If not, I'd be happy to take a look at it.

I'd pop it open and repair the curcuit.

If it is prone to water seepage, the board is probably corroded.

The trunk bar is fed off the left side tail light IIRC., so if one side is bad it's probably an internal defect, not a fuse, etc.

Thanks! I was thinking along similar lines. I’ll give it a try. Hoping I don’t damage it opening it up
