The SRT light emblem on my steering wheel has stopped working, although everything else is functioning fine. It's a 2021 model with 44,000 miles on it. This issue started just a few days ago. I'm not sure if the emblem was always illuminated in the dark, but I do remember seeing it lit up most of the time, and now it makes me sad. Is there any way to fix this?

Did you check your settings?
Like with the hellcat, you can adjust your running lights.
Not in my car now, so cannot validate.
@DGatzby ?

Shows how oblivious I am to some things.....I never noticed if any of my steering wheels light up...and not sure I care one way or the other :unsure::giggle::giggle:;)

I have the 392 version and I remember taking it in for a ceramic coating and when I picked up the car I noticed that the detailer switched the lights to manual mode, but I changed it back to automatic. Now, I'm not sure why the SRT light isn’t showing up.

I think I remember seeing it last week when I drove at night, and I even said, “Thank God the light is working because it’s probably a miracle!” I've seen other people complain about this issue in the Facebook group. I'm sure that either the cable just got lose or it either it got damaged/off somehow and now is gone forever. Well I guess not much I can do

Wow, I was actually gonna do a thread about the color of these. I was running our gal through the tunnel car wash today, and I always turn on the lights when she goes through the wash, looked down, and "rediscovered" the lit emblem. I've seen pics of them lit in both red and white, in their "OE" state (no modding). Does anyone have theirs lit in white, or any other color? I dunno but think I may also have seen a pic of one in blue, but in that case I have no idea if it was a mod.

Red would be tolerable, but white screws up night vision. Although maybe not as badly as blue would.

I have white....if I was gonna bother upgrading, I wanted as bright as possible and it looks great to me. The other colors were too dim and don't match the dash lights

Black works, as it blends in with the steering wheel better.

The emblem can be turned on or off by the dials next to the headlight switch.

I was going to ask what a car wash is, but I didn't want to sound stupid.

But as long as I've outed myself, is blastphemy when you say something so offensive it blows up?

Actually it is the act of doing something so egregious (taking any Mopar through a car wash)...that the penalty could possibly be...eternal damnation :devilish::devilish::devilish:

Absolutely, with a smile on my face every time. :) Only precautions I take are to always fold in the mirrors, and turn all the lights on. We are blessed to have a really state of the art, new construction tunnel/pull through wash in our area, and after speaking with the owner at length about it (I was mostly concerned about any potential for it to damage the wheels), I use it pretty often, and almost every time it needs a bath, unless I'm gonna do something special to it like put on another coat of ceramic detailer.

Curious, does it have the undercarriage wash?

Yes, it sure does. In my mind it's huge bonus in the winter months for the salt or whatever chemicals they use around here in NOVA. :)
