I really enjoy seeing any car with such a great handle on their tune-up and overall program with minimal issues plus the all them road miles - fun to watch. But the radials must have top-notch prep to even have a chance at this kind of performance, and Tom sure provided it this event - possibly with the big tire guys grumbling a bit.

Bradenton and South Georgia are known for great prep while OSW and Gainesville is not. I know last year Bailey had a crew prepping Gainesville for 2 days before the group got there.

There was confusion about allowing the burnouts.

Management stopped them and called the cops. 1 driver got a ticket.

Owner said to allow "respectful" burnouts. Whatever that is.

Then management stopped them again.

Brett LaSala resets his own world record in his final time down the track at Orlando Speedworld Dragway to wrap up Sick Week 2024. LaSala laid down a 6.26 elapse time at 227 mph in his Snot Rocket team's Mustang to capture the overall victory.
