There was a member, can’t recall his moniker, that said his wife took him to the ER and left him because she wasn’t allowed to follow. He went on to say he was hooked up to apparatus and wondering if he’d make it. I think the post was in the Oldbaycrab thread.

Personally, I’m hale and hearty, full of vim and vigor, etc.

Found it. It was @5wndwcpe in the CV coming to get us thread (post #1805). I see he was viewing a thread at 1:27 today. So hopefully he's okay.

Present for duty. Can't provide too much more other than I am a long-time Dept of Army Civilian who works under the Army Medical Command, specifically in the Public Health realm. Keep following the guidelines....period. There is also a lot of fake news and fear mongering. If you question something, fact check it against the CDC or Army MEDCOM Public Health sites.

My unofficial (not speaking for the Army) relay of information is; probably looking at another 4+ wks of this unless there is a dramatic drop off in infections. We were supposed to be in FL this week for the kids break, moved it to June 3-15 when this started in March, that probably won't happen either. So keep that in mind if you have vacations planned/moved.

Of course this is a topic where all of the experts hope the info is wrong in that it doesn't take that long. Remember, better to hold out too long and be safe and be criticized, than to come back too early and exacerbate the issue and be criticized.

And just as I typed my info I now read a decision is coming "shortly" from the President on when the economy will open. I know many are chomping at the bit, but I hope it is not pre-May 15. IMO that would be a bit early, but hey, that's above my pay grade level and area of expertise.

Hickster here,,, and there. Never know maybe in the mirror one morning. Sitting at home with a cold and getting worse. Not better by Thursday, going to get tested. Didn't get my car today, so you know it is weirdness. Don't care if I can't walk,, going to get that car out of the shop. Be damned to go to an instituation,, well a different one, and leaving that car in the paint booth.

Still here and kicking. I went to the ER with shortness of breath and tightness in the chest. Other than stupid high blood pressure, they did not find anything conclusive (heart attack, blood clots etc.). At least it wasn’t the Flu Manchu (I think).
