I just saw where they qualified 32 cars for the field running at Bradenton. 32 cars within .10 Fastest to slowest….. 3.58 to 3.68. Unflippen believable 😵‍💫.
The numbers of people who step up to this level and run is amazing. They make us look like po boys on the corner working for nickels but… in spite of all the track closures and FJB…. Drag racing is still alive

Everything is at least a second faster this year than last. It's insane.

To put this in perspective

At 200mph, you are traveling 293.333ft/sec

1320ft / 293.333ft/sec = 4.5sec

This means if you pass them at 200mph and they launch as you pass, they beat you to the big end...

By nearly a full second!

As a former PM racer I can say that a field this tight is incredible! I wonder how many PM's were there? To have 32 packed this tight I'd think there were several more that didn't have such a great outing..
