If it was caused by something external no way they’d cover it under warranty even if it’s bumper to bumper. It’s a manufacturing defect

I agree with you on him being a troll, but I’m not sure why you’re getting so defensive on this. Glad they’re taking care of it for you. I’ve been around for a long time and have had mopars for over a decade. I have a Durango, same time frame as yours. Same paint issues. Good luck
