I hope they redo it like 131. It is close to Detroit but wasn't the nicest track. At least there will be another open even if they don't redo it

I started listing to the recording of the radio show they were on. I heard a lot of things they want to do in the future. Haven’t heard any definite things yet. But I only listened to a little bit.

I would think they want to make it a better track. Hope they have the money to do it. I have seen 3 tracks get updated. Mid Michigan went through a smaller one but saw 131 and Bandimere go through total transformations

Spent some very fun days at that track back in my youth. glad to hear it is still going. Got he worst sun burn ever there. LOL I was a Student at MOTECH in Livonia, at the time. We had a track day event, for all the students. A great day! For those that don't know Motech was a Chrysler sponsored automotive training center. The instructors were made up of Chrysler/Dodge engineers. One of which was Ron Mancini of the famed Mancini Racing team. He was my power train instructor. A great school.

In 1977 and 1978 Milan hosted the NHRA Northern Nationals. I was 12 yrs. old, incredible memories. Me and my two boys have raced our cars there several times since 2015. Fantastic news!!!!!!! My avatar is from a day of racing at Milan.
