Mating an HP90 to a 6.4L 392 ScatPack

A friend of mine started his journey with just a simple ProCharger… few months later with a built motor and 14-16 psi he blew the HP70 apart. Went with a “reputable” shop that built him a HP70 and he blew that up and as a gesture of good will after a forensics discovery ascertained why, they built him a HP90. He just got the old TCM so he can get the transmission to mate and then he can flash the HP90 TCM with his tuners file.

Has anyone done this before? He’s now having issues mounting the trans as two bolt holes dont line up. To protect him and the shop involved I’m asking for him or if anyone has done this before and would be kind enough to field a question or two from him it would be appreciated. Ill even buy you a case of beer.

Isn't there a shop in Florida that has done that already? It's not a simple swap (obviously) and of course the computers will need massaging because they'll not be happy. I can't remember the name of the shop off hand, but i'm pretty sure they offered a package to do that swap even.

There is a guy on Youtube that seems to have a habit of putting Hellcat, Demon and Redeye motors in 300's. While I haven't paid attention, I'm sure that would include the HP90 too.

Here he's talking about a new cross member/mount he needs to install ... I've started the video at that point ...

I forwarded this video to him, had a quick chat. He's doing full hellcat swaps so the patters all line up. I'm just trying to decipher if the HP90 can bolt to the 6.4 no problem.

I know of at least 2 guys locally, one with a 5.7 R/T that is very modded...twin turbos(maybe 800 hp?) that he just had to upgrade to a HP90 and one with a scat pack 392 twin turbo that is over 1000 hp and he also had to upgrade to the HP90. It's definitely possible and I would dare to say a lot of people have done it.

I believe the trucks come with what they call the 8HP75

Call Glenn Rains at RPM. He’s done HP70 to 90 swaps and worked out the hassles involved.
