They've lost their way. It's not about the intensity of the sound, but the /quality/ of the sound...
A quiet V8 is still a V8. Sure, more rumble, or a louder V8 is great too, but first and foremost it's the sound of the /V8/.
Make any other less-pleasant (or unpleasant) sound /louder/ and you're doing no one any favors...

Matt McAlear, Dodge's sales and marketing head, is said to have revealed that the car will incorporate the Charger Daytona SRT concept's Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust, a sound generator meant to react to rpm to imitate the varied sound of a gas-powered exhaust. According to McAlear, the automobile will be as loud as the Hellcat versions of the Challenger and Charger, reaching up to 126 decibels.

Our Tundra had piped in exhaust noise. I took it back and told them to turn it off no matter if it meant cutting wires. Fortunately they were able to turn it off.

This is what's going to happen to these cars. The sound is really fake and annoying as hell.

The look/style of the car is ok by me, I mean we've been asking for a true-retro designed Charger for quite some time.

I HAVE TO ADMIT ITS A GOOD LOOKING CAR ,WITH THAT TWIN TURBO 6 IN IT THERE COULD BE AVENUES TO MODIFY IT AND MAKE IT A PRETTY AWESOME DRAG CAR,,AT LEAST THEY DID GIVE AN OPTION FOR THAT TURBOS ARE FASTER IN THE END ,,HELL I MIGHT ORDER ONE MYSELF AND MAKE @Charger girl DRIVE IT
