Been saying it for a while now. All of these four popper turbos are crap. I dont care what manufacturer either. Everyone loves em because theyre good on fuel and have decent pwr. Sure when theyre new. And now not even that. Talk to us when they have some miles on them. Oh wait, Ecoboost has been out for 8 or 9 yrs now. Yep, crap.

I have 2 and for the record this is old news on the 2.7 motor. It’s a valve seat quality issue from the pandemic related issues.

The thoughts are and yeh who the hell knows the valve seats were not of the best grade and or valves. The number 5 cylinder Valve drops and then it’s all over. There is a huge thread in the Bronco6g forum that started this conversation last year. Some owners not only had the original motor catapult but the second one as well😳. Yeh there are some unhappy campers but hope for the best or plan for the worst😂

I just drove my Hot Pepper Red to Fl and back and actually towing more than your supposed to. 85-90mph like nothing and figured she blow after 2500 miles of hauling ass but she’s still ticking at 7K miles. Bought her in January and so far so good but every days a new day.
