Lol MPG is absolutely garbage on these cars, hahaha! They charge us a gas guzzler tax man.

My advice, map out your cheap gas stations if you DD your car. I don't DD mine, drive it once or twice a week if the weather is nice. I think I get around 10 MPG.
Two things I don't ever do...or have ever done...daily drive my car..or ever get over 10 miles per gallon..Hard to imagine doin either..

that demon must be worst than the hellcat on gas. Is that what your referring to the 10 miles per gallon?

My HC is an M6...always spirited driving..always in a lower gear than an A8 would cruise..I'm lucky if I get 8...

The death wobble I experienced was from a stock jeep with no lift. My buddies F-150 is stock as well and does that from time to time.
Well, stock vehicles can have unbalanced tires and worn out components, too.

In theory my girlfriend's Redeye should get lower mileage than my basic 'Cat, right? Not so. She consistently gets at least 10% better mpg than I do.
Both are basically driven on the same roads, but there are so many other variables.

For some reason..I drive the HC more aggressively...probably the fun factor of the M6...its easier for me to be an idiot..(not that there's anything wrong with that:giggle::giggle:)

That might have something to do with it.

Not that she drives slowly by any means. When she comes home today I'll ask, and generally the answer is somewhere between 100 and 130.
But those aren't sustained speeds, like I tend to do, and she doesn't pass nearly as aggressively as I do.

EDIT: My guess was correct, 117 she says.

There is, and nice twisties, too.
To put it in perspective, it's almost 70 miles to the nearest stop light...and one stop sign right by the house along the way there.
Wouldn't want it any other way.

Fastest, or quickest? Either way, the non-synchro 18-speed in my Pete satisfies my shifting needs.

Yep. Hardly any Corona crap, friendly cops, and, well, just really nice.
At least I like it.

Not quite. I can only go about 2,000 miles without stopping for fuel. And stopping, and getting going again, pretty much involves using the clutch.
Of course, if I slowed down a bit, I might make it all the way without getting more fuel.

Although, there's most likely some pesky stop sign or light along the way so I'd be forced to stop no matter what.
