Anyone have an aluminum driveshaft from Gulfcoast driveshaft? Any vibration? High speed balanced? How much power will it hold? Do you like it?

I drive the car, unfortunately carbon fiber isn't going to work there. Don't trust the bonding and unwrapped long tube headers

1 vote here for Ralph Wiles. 4 in. aluminum working well for me. I just had to clearance my Barton a few mm’s.

It is balanced. The wiles are not and are hit or miss. My wiles I bought a few years back will get balanced. Been on the car twice. My gulf coast has been on the car but I have a vibration this year I have not found it yet. I have the stock driveshaft in now and still have it. I also have changed axles and wheels. So next thought is the diff. I may have damaged it last year when I broke the driveshaft. Just picked up a new redeye 3.09 to try

I will be selling my M6 Wiles 4” alum driveshaft, it was just back from Wiles for chdvk out before the thanksgiving entire driveline replacement including transmission, runs smoother then any 1 piece slum driveshaft I have ever been in. A M6 drive shaft spins about 33% faster than a A8 driveshaft which makes them definitely more hit and miss NVH wise. PM me if any interest in it, $900 shipped, has only about 150 miles on it.

Nope I would have to weigh them. I have both the wiles and gulf in the house. They will be a little heavier being they are for a Charger which is 4" longer

So they both weight about 21lbs. Took pics of weights on gulf, wiles has none. They do install different. The wiles boot is at the back the other is in front. Different number of bolts between front and back so they can only go on 1 way
