Shit, I thought he was the suspect as well smfh..... I didnt see any emergency lights but in his defense he's immune from MV violations while in the performance of his duties so technically he didnt do anything wrong.

He can run red lighst, speed, etc.... If he strikes someone then he would be held accountable but statutorily he didnt committ any offense. Ive seen that happen more than once before especially in multiagency task force operations where many dudes are in soft cars like this one.

Havent seen one pitted before but surely seen them boxed in then..... oops.

Clearly turned on his lights after he got pitted.

In an agency I served in long ago, some supervisors used their personal vehicles. A LT drove a Toyota pickup.
I've seen several foreign makes being used here by the DPS investigators.

In the states I've served in, emergency lights and siren must be active to allow you to disregard traffic regulations.
I don't know about FL, anyone?

'Doesn't bother me that he used a P.O.V., but if he's going to do pursuit in a P.O.V., he really needs lights and siren (before getting pitted).

He turned them on after he was pitted. Did he have any in the back?
