So it sprinkled at Jon's house Friday at 2pm and was done. We could have run Friday. Saturday was suppose to be dry all day, nope. Had a drizzle and spitting in the morning and didn't get on track until 1:00. I had Jon soften the tune on launch and he did, a little to much. Had a 1.51 60ft went 9.52 @ 147. Jon made an adjustment and the rain came again. Radar would show it would be done soon but it kept coming. Jon went home for a little while and I was going to wait it out or get my money back. They had the track ready to go and called everyone to the lanes. I told Jon to head back at which point it started raining again. About 6pm we were back on again. I was having some burnout issue where it was only spinning one tire. Because of it I spun on my 2nd pass but I know that was why. My 3rd pass the burnout went good. I had a 1.39 60 and went 9.39 @147. I figured I should be 9.2-9.3 with 1700 DA and 4700 lbs so close
A lot of racers left during the rain and after my 3rd pass I was done. They just line us up with someone close for a 2 out of 3 which probably would have been Jon and I racing each other. We just wanted to make some passes. Last time out last year my 3rd shift was a little slow but Jon thought it may had to do with torque management. He sent me a new tune and it shifted fine every pass so happy with that. I haven't looked over the log much but fuel looked fine. I will take a look and see what boost was. If they would have tried Friday we could have got our runs in and probably would not have even went Saturday. Of coarse today has been dry and cooler in the low 60s. Was 71 yesterday still not to bad though
