Has anyone ever seen
A Demon 170 in the winner’s circle

My 170 is a dream to drive around town, and a riot when I lean on it! I am not a true "racer", more like a half assed racer, I do it for fun, it is not a serious attempt to "win" anything.

Maybe the 170 doesn't win sanctioned races, but I love driving mine. And I really don't think I would enjoy driving a competitive race car to WM for groceries!

Agreed and never seen a Superstock/Demon/ or 170 in the winner circle but seen a 1320 and a bunch of slower Fbodys/Focbodies but then again it is a numbers game.

Would love a 170! but I am a poor kid in this forum LOL.

With the new Cal and with practice I suspect racing with the Trans brake with a conservative torque curve would be deadly. Because as you know when you release that paddle the car moves almost instantly. The new Cal should make the car more consistent using the TB.
