Are u referring to Satera or Barth?

According to everybody's favorite tuner to hate lately it is a sensor however the ECU references the inferred tables using that sensor? Either way I'm not sure anyone has actually dug into it nor actually taken the time to figure out how it's wired into the ECU.

Did my first logs on Shell 93 gasoline yesterday. Based on what I'm seeing I'd not recommend any WOT on pump gas in these 170s.

STK, LTK picked up? If so how many degrees retard did it pull?

Nope, makes 22psi 2.5 pratio in my logs on 93. I got a degree to 1.5 of STKR in one log, but the timing is SUPER low and the fueling SUPER rich on pump gas. I wouldn't wanna run it hard like that.

Nope, makes 22psi 2.5 pratio in my logs on 93. I got a degree to 1.5 of STKR in one log, but the timing is SUPER low and the fueling SUPER rich on pump gas. I wouldn't wanna run it hard like that.
Like...what in the hell were they thinking?

Guess there's our answers how so many of these popped in testing. Damn.

Well, 93 is going to the grocery store fuel in a 1000HP car, owners need to educate themselves on that. I'm surprised the bypass wasn't tied to ethanol content that woulda solved it.

First cleanup and some details. I thought the sensor on the pass fuel rail was the FF sensor but some say no?



That is 100% the Flex sensor

According to everybody's favorite tuner to hate lately it is a sensor however the ECU references the inferred tables using that sensor? Either way I'm not sure anyone has actually dug into it nor actually taken the time to figure out how it's wired into the ECU.

The hero of the day. Now we just need to know how the tune interprets this information and if that pin may still be active in Prior years and just not used. Perhaps activated by a new OS in which case there's at least an outside chance of being able to retrofit

Sounds like they were struggling with 900hp low ethanol content part of tune. E65 and above for full on 1025hp is probably the easy part. We shall see. I would like to start Data Logging as well to learn the innards of this engine/tune.

I don't believe COT had even kicked in yet. It was cool out and it was just a small hit in 4th.

Not that SRT could have gotten it to pass emission and CAFE but 426 cube could have gotten the power numbers easily. Getting the power with pump gas, meeting emissions, and 5 year warranty is the harder part with enough safety margin keeping it together, especially with the intent of the car. Now add the transition of live E content converting to inferred (if that is actually the case) fuel mapping tables. Wonder if they used any tuner advise input or at least looked at what some of the modded cars tunes looks like. Some of the flex tunes out there must have been making it back to Auburn Hills Engineering Labs/Dyno rooms. Big Brother keeps tabs on customer driving habits and usage no doubt.
