My 2016 HC had the carbon fiber stripes. This next HC will have no stripes for ease of maintenance.

The thing about the stripes is the production numbers, my 21 Redeye there's only nine built, Green with stripes and four of them are in Canada. This should affect resale value when I sell it.

Perhaps your username is the answer to your problem? Or is that just what rednecks use to fix stuff?

Mine were peeling around under the trunk lid and hood plus full of air bubbles when I got it. Took it to a guy who fixed them up.

Applied at factory right? You bought new?

Never had stripes myself. Too leery of these types of problems.

I'm just gonna let the next buyer deal with. You know in reality the Challenger is a POS. Straight from the factory it has a shitty paint job, flimsy plastic crap but one thing they did right is the motor/powertrain. That's the only reason I bought it so I really can't complain. This car is amazing but damn.

If you can find a RE with painted stripes that will be a rare car.

People need to realize that there's only about 70,000 Hellcats built so far +- and there be less than 80,000 I'm guessing (Gas vehicles) in existence if they still plan on this year being the last production year.

Mopar has always been shabby on paint and finishes. I remember from back in the 60s-70s same thing.

But that's no excuse. My paint and finish was okay, except for one of the crop circle divots in the dash that appeared overnight. But the photos I saw of some of the shit that was let past final inspection was just embarrassing. Those Canadians should be fire! :)

It really is embarrassing and you don't realize how fucked up the car is until you do a full detail on it. I have right around 60,000 miles in the dr seat of a Hellcat(s) I really enjoy the power of this vehicle and in my head I find it hard for another vehicle to satisfy me in that aspect but plan on selling this car and my next (last) will be European, M8 or AMG 63.
