Just a heads up the automotive industry is in total disarray due to the Chip Shortage which has skyrocketed car prices new and used. But unbeknownst to most their are so many vehicles that have been manufactured sitting around the country. Once the chip shortage Comes to an end there is going to be a massive influx of new vehicles magically show up at dealers and over load them. Be smart and do your research being car dealers are going to be seeing a huge decrease in sales very shorty and will try to take advantage More than ever of the uneducated consumer.

A Sea of Incomplete Ford F-150 Pickups: Over 60,000 and Counting

The microchip supply chain disruption doesn’t really hit you until you see the sea of trucks parked one after the other. Aerial views show only a portion of the over 60,000 to 70,000 Ford F-150 pickups sitting idle waiting to be completed. While it is expensive to shut down assembly lines, it is becoming a larger problem for Ford having to park so many trucks.

While no photos of the forklift or bulldozer were provided, GM-Trucks.com has confirmed from a GM dealer that they’ve been instructed to inspect all inbound HD’s for forklift damage and have noted increased frame rust on trucks stored in the field."

There are lots full of vehicles all over Ohio & Michigan (although not 60000+ in one location). I've been wondering for a while how all these partially built new '21 vehicles are going to shake out after sitting for months or a year and new '22 vehicles are already available too.

and it's not just chips for pcm/ecu's. call from u-connect yesterday, whatever preferred name we want to use for Dodge' parent company, changed u-connect suppliers Wednesday, and it's already claiming supply chain issues. won't even accept an order for a headunit [Demon] until 15 Feb, with a 22 Feb delivery date, at the earliest. House of Hook re-opens 6 March, so ... with any luck I just might make a pass less than a year since the last one, shortly before the headunit went tits-up
