FS Authorized Igla Installer!

Proud to announce that I am an authorized Igla installer. Working with Igla USA we are happy to partner and offer this capability. Let's put car thieves out of a job. I made this video to help demystify how they work on Mopars.

I am in the process of re-branding/launching my website for this. There will be two packages. Basic installation and Premium installation. Basic installation is 1200.00 and this includes your Igla device, shop time and customization. The Basic installation provides engine inhibit which means that without the Pin put in, the engine will simply not start. This will prevent remote start as well. The Premium installation provides engine shut-off which will allow the car to start, remote start as well but before you move the shifter you will have to put in your pin code otherwise the car will shut off. This will trigger check engine lights, nothing nefarious but it is lost communication codes that will clear after successful key cycles. The reason that this requires an additional fee is that there are additional modifications that need to happen to the vehicle. I will not discuss what those modifications are so don't ask.

The car must be left with us and we ask that you not remain in the shop during install. This is required of all customers, no matter who you are. We are located right next to the Annapolis mall so make a nice day of it and go enjoy some fine food and shopping.

I must have something other than a basic install then. I'll have to ask.

When OST did mine in 2024 I could remote start and all that...but I must authenticate via fob or code after getting in and pressing my start button or my shifter is locked out and she goes nowhere. If I do not authenticate on a regular start when I press the button nothing happens and the car isn't real happy. Lol.

I'm glad this thing exists I know that much.

Yes this is very configurable, you'd be surprised at the amount of reading I have had to do to decide how we would like to configure cars that come through our shop. There is no cookie cutter method for these cars. Igla really does make it fully customizable. From what I know it sounds like you have a Premium setup with additional work put in. Just so everyone is aware there is no standard install from one shop to another. We have reservations about the fob as that will will be an issue. If you are carjacked and the fob is in the car it will be as if the feature is turned off. But OST knows what they are doing so I don't think they'd put you in a bad position, it could be that you also have a different version of the Igla. Looking at the Author catalog, my mind was blown.

OST is definitely tier 1. One thing I will say is Micah made me fully aware of how it all works and spent time going over any/all reservations I had. I may have forgotten some stuff but the initial paperwork, box & code are safely tucked away somewhere and that fob rarely ever leaves the house. I believe I've only ever taken it to the track where I know I'll have my eyes on it.

I'll be in the market for one for my V8 durango shortly. They're the closest installer to this area and I'm pretty fortunate in that aspect to have them so close.

I don't think mine has shut down but there are a couple different things it does do. I'll have to consult with Micah for a refresher when I inquire about the Durango.

Out of curiosity did you have to pay a fee to become a igla installer or they just let you?

Why would that matter? There is no fee, there is vetting, minimum 10 units purchased and then mandatory training. No worries though, you would never be one with all the uneducated comments on the TRX forum. 😘

do you do any of the drone mobile F/R camera installs as well or just Igla . I know a lot of shops pair DM or other with Igla when they install.

I do not but if a customer asks for it we will research it. Also want to point out that they ripped the cameras out of my car.

No, dronemobile is a gps tracker and it has other option but they also offer F/R cameras that intefrace with the system. I was looking to have video in case of accidents or shenannigans not necessarily for theft prevention

I have several drone xc camera’s with interior or rear camera’s I don’t want. You can always self install if you wanted to. If you are close to @fumanchu182 I can send it all to him and he can probably throw it all in.
