Damn and I mean sucks that I have now twice hit my front right wheel on a curb in my Ford GT500. I did the first one back in March and now again I did it just today. I have lots of nice cars and never have had this happen so often and or at all. My feeling is the turning Is very long in the GT500 border line way too long. I have now caught myself too late compensating an entrance by turning a tad to soon into an entrance taking a right turn. I end up hitting the wheel right at the end of the curb and damn it hurts hearing that noise. So just a heads up for anyone pulling into entrances with curbs you really have to be extra careful. Here’s the pic of today’s destruction and thank goodness I purchased wheel and tire for $750 since I ruined a tire and wheel repair last time. And now here we go again so money well spent IMO.

Yup, did same on wide body RE, and the last NB cat I had. I know the feeling All to well. At least I got 7,500 miles in before screwing up.

It sucks, but it could have been worse. Nice looking GT500.

The GT500 steers so different from my Hellcats and it’s truly a very big turning radius. The Hellcats IMO have a really nice turning radius but not the GT500 it’s just a tight hard long turn.

That's old, right? (You didn't just do that again, right?)
That's the old one.
If I do that again, I'll....
Better not say anything, might jinx myself.

That sucks. You drive those trucks too much and are having a hard time compensating.

Either that, or the "Mustang Driver Syndrome" is getting to you. Were their pedestrians around when you did that?

It's the GT500, the Mopar curb feelers would look bad on it.

Guess it helps to live and drive where there are no curbs.
Then again, even if we had them, I wouldn't drive into them. Makes the wheels ugly and out of balance.

There's a company who makes low-pro tire protectors... Basically a slip in the "rim" of the wheel and gives you a small barrier to help prevent something like this.
If I can find them again, I'll post up a link.

Not sure about that particular make but I've seen Chinese copy ones on cars and think they look awful.
