For anyone cleaning or removing the air filter from a hellcat or red eye with an open top filter box be aware that there is a small rubber support teat molded to the small end cap of the filter. It fits into a slotted hole and when removing the filter the filter must be be moved about an inch to the rear before lifting the filter out of the box. If not you will tear the teat from the filter cap. Then you either use gorilla glue or buy a new filter.
Since the element is secured by three screws and a clamp I’m not sure of the purpose for the rubber support but be aware that it is there.
