Make it AWD and it’s a winner!
that's a good and bad idea.

Good if you can keep it under 95k

Bad if it goes over 100k

E63 and m5 will cannibalize its sales and it will become a slow moving unit like the trackhawk. Nobody wants to spend 100k+ on a dodge(Aside from a limited production model like a demon/viper)when compatible M and Amg cars are in that market share.

I've said this since I bought the car, but there is no way with this architecture FCA is going to throw down the cash do develop a full on AWD system that can handle this power. But I can wish.
it's doable, would need some solid rework though. Also probably pushes the msrp to 105k+ in order to recover r&d. And if you need 7k power dollars to sell an 80k car imagine how much rebate you will need to move a 105k car that's just an awd redeye version of the 80k car.

Well boys, it is official. I am done putting money into my 2019 Charger HC and waiting for the Charge RE. By that time <cross fingers> AGI comes out with a Charger Roll Cage with removal pins in the door bars, thus can have a roll cage and daily drive the car.

How cool is that? Charger with a roll cage and DD.

But the shopping list will not stop there. First goal is to have at least 1000whp and then build on top of that.

I have no Doubt that the Redeye Charger is out there!

Linda :)

You might remember in May of last year, we broke the news that the Dodge//SRT brand would be releasing a 797 horsepower version of its 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Widebody. Earlier this afternoon, our spy photographers happened to catch a production-spec 2020 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody on the streets of Metro Detroit testing. Its the first solid proof, that such a vehicle exists.

How does one get the job of being an SRT test driver?

Just clearance the tranny tunnel with a sawzall and a sledgehammer and the AWD from the Trackhawk will fit.

The heat extractors look good but are not functional or else they would have shown up on the Demon and the 2019/20 HC’s. They are not needed to keep the engine cooler. I’ve tested them open and blocked off on a 250 mile trip and it does not affect any of the gauge temperatures either way.
Not heat extractors, more to remove air from the engine bay to create less lift on the front end

I guess lift was not a concern on the Demon or 2019 and newer Hellcats?
