3.17in Hellephant Pulley question

So i own a 2020 redeye challenger widebody and i put in a LMI intake so the whine of the intake could be louder. Now this is the question i would like help with, if i put the intake back to stock then get this stage 2 kit with the 3.17 pulley will the whine be louder then stock or close to the LMI intake with the pulley installed?

Not sure but I have a 2.85 on my Hellcat with the Legmaker and the stock pulley on my Redeye with the Legmaker and they sound the same and my Hellcat makes more boost.

If i could get the same sound from the stock intake with the newer hellephant pulley i would go that route. I believe the prestage kit gives you a different cai filter also so maybe.
I dont know much about these pulleys. Is the Hellephant pulley a upper or lower pulley. I do know it will make 2 more pounds of boost though.

I believe the filter they will offer will be the Demon track filter. I had one on my Redeye and their was no difference in sound and it was much quieter than the the Legmaker with a K&N filter.

Looking at the picture the newer CAI looks identical to our redeye filters. The demon filter from the crate has a opening at the front of the intake. Unless the pictures they are suppling from the power broker dodge site is showing the wrong intake?

The filter and pulley will never scream like the Legmaker.

3.17 is the upper pulley, the crate filter from the Demon doesn’t have a opening in the inlet side just a indentation. I have not noticed any difference between Redeye filter or Demon crate filter. I also have the Demon hood.

My $0.02… put it back to stock, have the dealer pulley/tune it, and then put your intake back on.
Id go pulley/tune over a Legmaker every day of the week if I had to choose 1.

A pulley and stock box will not be as loud as a stock pulley and LMI. LMI is much louder.

Can’t you add the pulley and keep the LMI? I guess when your talking about warranty, you have to do it their way. I would still ask.

You certainly can do it after if you are concerned about Warranty.
