Also the AWD system. ~240 lbs.

Hurricane + AWD ~ 740 lbs
Hellcat ~ 850 lbs
So you’re thinking the Hellcat Charger won’t have AWD? Or am I reading that wrong.

Now that you mention it, it is possible for the STLA to house AWD.

AWD Hellcat that you could divert all power to RWD with a button. That's possible.

That’s what I’m thinking.

Unfortunately the Hurricane Charger is 4800lbs and the Hellcat engine, supercharger, assorted coolers and plumbing is 350lbs heavier than the Hurricane.

So unless Dodge has something else up their sleeve the Hellcat Charger could be 5150lbs. :cautious:

Around the same weight as a 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 6.1L AWD but with double the HP.

There are some places to shave off weight (e.g. wheels, rotors, carbon fiber hood).

The Hurricane doesn’t have any turbos, assorted coolers, or plumbing?
No way it’s +350, right?

I just said those things about the Hellcat so people will realize why it’s so heavy.

The 5.7/6.4 is only 100lbs heavier than the Hurricane.

Iron Block V engines are heavy with two banks. Since the Hemi is now going to be around for a while they really need an aluminum block like everyone else has been doing for 20 years.

Hellephant A30 and A170 would be that answer.
