Ordered a Durango HC Jailbreak on 4/28 from Mark Dodge for 7500 off MSRP, had Tread Lightly Affiliate code added to it for another 1% off at delivery.

Arrived to Louisiana 8/7. Shipped by open trailer to Dallas Fort Worth, arriving 8/14.

I cannot state how pleased I am with Mark Dodge. Ordering process, updates along the way, and purchase done remotely was an easy process and will use them again. Additionally, as the largest volume dealer in the U.S., no one can beat or match their pricing.

The not-so-good... delivery driver called 20 mins before delivery and sounded sick to good stomach. He stopped for gas and found the mid-passenger-side windshield had taken a golf ball sized rock amd cracked the windshield entirely north/south. Luckily, no paint or body damage.

GM at Mark Dodge said to fix it and send him the receipt to reimburse me. The GM and delivery guy were very apologetic.

I'm dropping it off this week for ceramic tint, PPF, ceramic coating, brake pad swap out to Powerstops, and windshield replacement locally at a high-end shop.

I love the black painted hood option. Can't wait to drive this beast! 1000015351.jpg

If you get it fixed on your insurance it will count against you as far as insurance points. I would have told them you didn’t want to pick it up until they got it fixed…just saying. When we retired and moved to Florida, there was a couple of insurance companies that would not underwrite us. Just one vehicle, now less than 12,000 miles per year, no accidents or collision claims but a windshield for my 2021 Jeep GC and a windshield and a couple of towing charges for my 2001 Ram CTD. The underwriter said we were high risk! We had four vehicles and, not counting my wife’s mileage, I put over 36,000 miles a year on my daily driver before I retired. It would be a miracle if there weren’t some windshield or other comprehensive claims. That windshield will be a mark on your insurance file if you get it fixed on your insurance.

I shipped my '23 from Atl to FL enclosed for this very reason. Surprised the dealership took any responsibility for the damage, typically once it's on the transport - it's your problem to deal with.

If I decide to go thru with getting a DDHC I'll have to check out this dealer !!

Probably different states have different things about claims. I had my windshield in the jeep replaced and my insurance guy said it wouldn't go against me

That’s what they say but get more than two or three comprehensive claims in less than 40 months and it will be so noted

That's a crappy situation with your insurance company.

I paid for the vehicle, and during shipping on the trailer with a 3rd party shipper, it got hit with the rock. This guy has delivered 100s of RHOs and Rams all over the U.S. and it was the first time he's had this happen. The driver, Kyle, offered to pay for the damage, too. He owns his own truck and is a 1 man show.

I'm paying cash for the new windshield and will get reimbursement from the dealer.

Lesson learned! I had my '23 Super Stock shipped from MN to DFW in an enclosed trailer, but incorrectly thought the Durango could make it 500 miles scot free:rolleyes:

Definitely check them out! GM, Sales Manager, Sales Associate, and even F&I guy were nothing but pleasant and good ol Southern folk:)

The dude that delivered mine was clearly some sort of independent contractor with his own rig. Dude didn't speak any English except to hold his hand out and ask for a tip like it was owed to him. Never even called to say he was close by, just showed up @ the door. Good thing I was home
