I had a Dodge Dart Swinger 340 cu. in.. It was pretty fast but nothing compared to the Hemi Dart!

I had to take a '67 Dart GT (273 - 2 bbl) and add a 340 w/ a 727. Along with an 8 3/4 rear end. Not quite a 340 GTS (since the 340 came out in '68), but the car performs very well, knocking on the 13 second door (best of 14.17). Not astounding by todays standards, but very respectable by the standards I was working under in the late 80's early 90's...

That 273 was a solid lifter no? Or could be had with 4bbl solid lifter right.
600 hp LA crate motor in that now would go good, lightweight car, not nose heavy it would be a little street strip terror.

I like the idea, that would be something to consider in the future.
