For whatever reason, it looks like TRXs and Durangos run much higher oil temps than Challengers do. I'm made a cover for the cooler on my Challenger to be able to get it up to temp.

That's an equalizing feature, giving you the same amount of oxygen as I get up here with a clean filter - where the filters stay clean.

Somebody mentioned a $18K discount at Mark Dodge, but that sure sounds like an RHO price, not something with a V8.

Unfortunately that pricing would make it very tempting to keep the TRX and add a Rumble Bee. A winter and a summer version if you will. But if there's one thing I really don't need it's another vehicle that doesn't get driven.

I dunno. All my '17 3500 does is pull trailers, that's what I bought it for. Except for the break-in period I can count on one hand how many times it wasn't pulling something. I have other vehicles to drive when not towing. And a girlfriend that does more than cook dinner.

Nope. Back when we still had actual winters they would happily ruin perfectly nice and clean roads with hardpacked snow into a slushy and corrosive mess. Better yet, they would spread that shit, then go by with the plows. That's logic so flawed you'd swear it's from the east coast.

Oddly enough, our local small mountain of "red shit" (cinder and salt) is still mostly intact. And has been for two years since we haven't had any winter lately.

You wouldn't have to plow as much if you had a TRX. They're good for up to 23 inches of snow I've found...and not just the light fluffy stuff.

Well worth it, compared to not much less for the RHO version. Or even a well optioned regular 1500. Besides, a few dealers will happily take about $10 K off of MSRP...while some will likely add ADM instead.

In all fairness, their sledge hammers are both cheap and dependable. I have quite a few of those.
