Rear Diff and Transmission oil change

No way I could drink any since there's normally not enough in the diffs for any to come out when removing the level plugs. Guess I could have a gulp or two when draining the OE fluid at 500 to 1,000 miles, but I'd rather drink the clean Amsoil. It should go down easier.

Rear Diff and Transmission oil change

    Most motorcycles don't have differentials.

Rear Diff and Transmission oil change

There's usually not enough of it is my main complaint. Either way, Amsoil is better. Have solved a couple of problematic diffs using it.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

They have lots of plates to choose from here, and I picked the "Support Our Troops" version. They're $17 (a one time cost) and for a good cause I think. But I have to admit that the really real reason I went with them is that they're practically impossible to read from any kind of distance...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Welcome to my world. The only FCA/Stellantis vehicles I haven't found low fluid levels in are a '23 and a '26 Durango. There's a reason (okay, several) I trailer the vehicles home, then put them on the lift to check fluid levels. And install magnetic level plugs. That's standard procedure...

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Yes, it does. If working on the brakes on the left side, disconnect the negative. When working on the right side, disconnect the positive cable.

Speak for yourself, doughnut boi. We haven't got any winter to speak of yet, and I doubt it will arrive before summer gets here.

    Durango Hellcat lawsuit tossed

There are exceptions. For example, I got quite a bit more for my Trackhawk when selling it after about two years. Granted, I got a good deal on it, but still. Although, that one wasn't the best profit percentage vise on vehicles I've sold and made money on. Think I broke even on my '23 DDHC...

    Quickjack thoughts?

For when you want to rotate the vehicle?

    Quickjack thoughts?

I use the 4-post well over 10 to one, but part of that is that I prefer working outside. Also, it takes a bit of time to position the arms of the 2-post.

    Quickjack thoughts?

That buys a decent 4-post. Do you have a lot of low clouds, or what's limiting your vertical clearance? Yeah, I know, they're not necessarily supposed to be outside, but my cheapy has lived in the great outdoors for at least eight years now.

    Batteries

Guess I could sell the OE battery in my '18 to Hunter. It's still doing just fine.

    Anything new out there?

Is that seven toys or seven registered? I consider all my vehicles toys, registered or not, since realistically I could do without all but one of them. But what fun would that be?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

You're basically saying that I'm getting younger. Our past two "winters" have been warm and practically snow free. Hell, there's still green grass in some spots.

C'mon vortecd. Surely you must have noticed that '71 is a bit, shall we say whimsical. But it's nice that he finally admits it, and in writing.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Wouldn't go as far as calling it "best". Sounds more like a somewhat isolated part of a basic city clusterfuck. For example, what would happen if you decided to rapidly empty two 30 round magazines of .223 behind your house, just because you felt like doing it?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Two cars?? I wish. It's not bad now, but during tourist season there are times when I have to wait for a while at the stop sign if wanting to go north when entering the main road. Which is if there's a vehicle within a 1/4 mile. South is no problem, it's a merge. Then all I might need to do is...
