    Life's little pleasures

Yep, I can get the distance to empty to show ridiculously high numbers, in anything. All it takes is having a full (or nearly full) tank, then reset the Lie-O-Meter at the beginning a of a reasonably long descent. Heck, I think I've seen over 500 miles to empty after filling the TRX in town...

So You Want To Order A 2023?

No need to learn to ride or hang around at boring horse shows, really. Find one to your liking and talk her into getting divorced. Done.

How can I determine the width of a wheel with a tire already mounted?

A tape measure should be good enough for getting within 0.25".

How can I determine the width of a wheel with a tire already mounted?

The wheel from the vehicle, maybe, but not the tire from the wheel.

1000 HP Audi RS6 Avant v. Old Smokey

Hmm. I thought the standard RS6 Avant feels pretty quick. And it sure beats my pickup.

    Weird vibration at 85 mph

I'm still hoping for the 6-door.

    Bulletproof 7 Seater SUV

Sorry guys, I only have the one M936 (same basic chassis and such). But do know where to get more.

    Weird vibration at 85 mph

Some Toyos do. Recently got a set of AT IIIs and thought somebody had smeared some of that miserable tire goop on them.

    Weird vibration at 85 mph

Simple solution: Don't go so damn slowly. 85 is for when stuck behind someone and waiting for it to be clear to pass. I have paid for eight gears, so I want to use them all.

    Weird vibration at 85 mph

I would hope that they at least use a Hunter machine with road force balancing. Then, as you pointed out, the machine should be calibrated correctly. And it's quite important that the Smart Weight setting is turned off. Otherwise the tires won't be balanced nearly as well as they could be...

    Merrick Motor Sports TRX lights

Just saw that someone makes stick-on, remote controlled, cab marker lights.

    What good is a EV?

Well, that one's actually quite stingy with fuel, but as delivered (pictured) is was probably set up for Death Valley, not for 7.500 feet. A simple adjustment of the timing of the injection pump and it doesn't smoke at all.

    What good is a EV?

Whadda you mean pollution? Electricity is perfectly clean. And I can make my own with the diesel generator.

Nope, Japanese, and complete with Toyota engines. And you can buy them new if you want.

POLL - Do you want the EV (MY24+ Dodge Charger Daytona Banshee) offering from Dodge SRT???

No, they make vans, too, but those HiJets (Daihatsu) are little dump bed pickups.

POLL - Do you want the EV (MY24+ Dodge Charger Daytona Banshee) offering from Dodge SRT???

These are what I drive the most frequently, within five miles of the house. The Can Am even has A/C for when it goes to over 70 degrees (mine to the left), as does my girlfriend's HiJet (left in the photo). And yes, we have two of several vehicles.

I ORDERED AN E-TORQUE BY MISTAKE!!! CRAP!!!

Two days?? You should be able to get that done in one day, even if driving both ways.

Dang. Whoda thunk that of all things it would be the eTorque system that leads to the world's collapse?
