    Fixed it for you, Holy.

Yep, that's why I wrote "...which is partially already in effect" above. I think 7,500 miles per year is my limit, but not even the 3500 (it gets by far the most miles on it) reaches even half of that on average. Heck, the other day I noticed that I haven't put gas in the 1500 for over a year...

    Insurance

Sounds somewhat similar to what my situation in California was. And guess what...premiums were quite high. There are other things playing a big role in costs. If premiums were based on my driving I probably couldn't afford to insure more than one car, but what they don't know can't hurt them...

    Insurance

Nah. I don't feel like paying high insurance premiums just to subsidize those who live in flood areas, where there's lots of traffic, fire risk zones, high theft areas, where tornadoes are likely, or alligators can attack. Yes, every state is in America, but every state is different. And by...

    Toyota’s new WATER POWERED CAR

In California that's not much different from an EV. Brownouts affects the EVs, not allowed to use water (which is also common) would be about the same thing.

I'm at $650, but with two more vehicles and otherwise similar policy. Except no riders or "extra acreage", which is something I've never heard of before. I guess that includes the guest house, garage, barn, hay barn, etc. The stuff occupying some extra acreage.

Yep, my 'Cat has gone from about $50 per month to over $80 in about two years. But the TRX seems to have stayed at $75. Odd.

Winter tires for the truck, Preimum or Cheapos?

Speaking of raining. This should be right up your alley, 1971. My favorite dealer has $16K off on a '24 1500 Laramie. Of course, MSRP is almost $70K, so it's still not cheap for a car...even if it has a little bed on the back.

Winter tires for the truck, Preimum or Cheapos?

Not the only way necessarily, but the Pilot Sport All Season 4 is one of the very few with any kind of actual all season performance in a 295/40R22. And even then, they're not the correct speed rating. But that doesn't bother me, just like it doesn't with the Challenger's tires. We just don't...

Winter tires for the truck, Preimum or Cheapos?

Yeah, this has been a tired year. New drive tires for the 3500, new Contis for the GT AWD, new tires for the horse trailer, new tires for the 35' gooseneck, new tires for the Durango, and much better tires for her 3500.. And it's not over yet. Her RSQ8 will get Michelins before the winter...

Winter tires for the truck, Preimum or Cheapos?

That's how I drive in the summer, too, not wanting to come to a complete stop unless I have to. Of course, it's mostly the 3500 that gets subjected to stoplights and stop signs, and its exhaust brake makes it easy to hardly having to use the brakes at all. Basically, if I have to use the...

Winter tires for the truck, Preimum or Cheapos?

Maybe I should point out that one reason I really liked that curve is that a failure would only result in dropping into a river maybe 20 feet below. To me that's a lot more appealing than either a 200+ foot plunge down a steep slope, or smacking into a rock wall on the high side, which is how...

Winter tires for the truck, Preimum or Cheapos?

Yup, that's where I go to find out how tires compare. For pickups and station wagons (aka SUVs these days) I usually don't even bother with ones that aren't 3-peak rated. And when I do, for the wagons, it's generally the Conti DWS06 that gets bought. One thing worth mentioning, 2ndAmend, is...
