I would imagine that there's some sort of Nissan or Toyota pickup that can approach those mileage numbers,
but much like I didn't buy a V6 Challenger (oh, wait, I did get one of those turds, too) I didn't get a TRX to get some kind of good mileage.
It gets me up to 15, maybe 16, the way I drive...
Generally I like Granite in order to stay below the radar as much as possible, figuratively and literally, but with a pickup I figured it'd mix in better being white.
And so far it seems to have worked. Of course, I've done a few things to make it look less than a TRX and more like a Rebel.
They are. And with a painfully low payload.
Against better knowledge, I even tried towing with it. Predictably, not a pleasant experience even though it was only an empty little 16-foot flatbed.

Those are hard to find in normal 2-door style. Last one I had, an '18, I had to order.
Of course, I generally order vehicles anyway, but that one was a must.
After 18 months I sold my '20 'Hawk to GiveMetheVIN (about a year ago) and got quite a bit over MSRP for it. Naturally I had paid well below that.
Found it for sale two states away (at a Kia dealer of all places) with another $15K added to the price. With 1,200 miles on the odo it wasn't...
