Huh? So what do you use to drive around and shoot prairie dogs from?

Last Dodge Charger Police Pursuit Vehicle w/Tim Kuniskis at Jay Leno's Garage

An email from my dealer about a 4Xe at $45,000 off is what made me look at what else the had on the lot (I was still in '68-'69 El Camino buying mode). Two used Durango Pursuit cars caught my attention, sending me on a chase of one of those models. Which ended up resulting in buying a highly...

    New truck 🤭

Together we have two (or more) of several things. Like Ram 3500s. 'Cats, TRXs, V6 Challengers, Kubotas, Can-Ams, and JD Gators. On the surface that may not make any sense, but in real life it kinda does. Each vehicle has its purpose. For example, if I'm on the road picking up a car (most...

    New truck 🤭

It's not uncommon at all for wimmin around here to have their own pickups. Heck, my girlfriend has two. And yes, the 1500 cost more than the longbed crew cab 3500 with a Cummins.

    P0300 After 2 runs at dragway - UPDATE 8/14/24

I'll rest easy then. If I can't get my annual mileage up to even 1,000/year, those plugs will last me for a while. Anyway, yes, a 5.7 was no big deal.

Car Rags Are Toilet Paper. Deal With It

Not quite, but that color would look the same even on a Mustang. You reminded me of when I had written up a somewhat detailed product installation on a vehicle that happened to be white. Well, someone did ask if I could do it again, but on a blue vehicle, because that's what he had. Now I...

Car Rags Are Toilet Paper. Deal With It

Oh, I forgot that on a D170 it looks more like a black with yellow polka dots.

SOLD. Ram rear bumper/bed step. SOLD

Dang it. It's a different part number. Oh well, I tried.

SOLD. Ram rear bumper/bed step. SOLD

Guess I should check if it also fits a '23 3500. If so, I might be interested.

UPDATE - Found a Cat trailer that looks pretty good, is there anything I’m missing?

Do you even need to use them? If the trailer is hooked up to something, that is. My little trailer has mounts for a jack on each side and they've been used once. That's because I overestimated the approach angle of a 'Cat and brought ramps that were too short. So, had to unhook the trailer and...

Forged carbon fiber diffuser on HCDD

C'mon, 1971. You start with billet carbon fiber, then forge it.

AWD setting in the Performance Pages - anyone mess with the 50/50 spit setting? (outside of when driving in snow or mud)

Well, if it wasn't for the inevitable weight transfer when accelerating (or the vehicle is really front heavy) the 50/50 approach might help. As it is, there's probably a reason why 50/50 is for use in snow (if I remember the Trackhawk settings correctly). Think of it as brake bias in reverse...

AWD setting in the Performance Pages - anyone mess with the 50/50 spit setting? (outside of when driving in snow or mud)

What are you hoping to achieve by running at 50/50? Unless you have a fairly heavy winch or something hanging off the front I can't see how it could improve anything.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Then I'd be tempted to run with shorter springs. Looking at that side shot above made me think about how much air ends up under the car.
