    Okay, I think I've figured out why the insurance rate is as low as it is here. They know that it's likely I'll run off the road in some curve, and the car and I will end up some 1,000 feet down a slope. Out of sight. That way they don't have to pay out anything, since we're simply "missing".

    Desert? Where's that desert you speak of? Must be something you flatlanders are more familiar with. We really don't have a lot of cactus, sand, and such, here in the Rockies.

    That would work. If the sign is anything like in your prior rendering, it would effectively render the front doors inoperable. Now you'd be down to two doors...definitely a step in the right direction.

    Okay, so my fares would be well above average, but the customer (please note, singular) would get to the destination much faster. Also, I would insist on payment in advance. Once the passenger shows any signs of wanting to throw up, out the door (the right one of two) they go.
