Wish we had a well, but even if we did, the water on this side of the river is usually as hard as what we get from the little water district.
Here the wells are some 500 to 1,200 feet deep, and on the other side of the river, nice soft water comes out of the ground by itself in numerous places...
If your tow vehicle is a dually, you'll have matching fenders. That must be worth something.
Now, on a Charger I actually prefer the dually fenders. But then again, those didn't have anything to lose in the looks department.
This has reminded me of something I read as a kid.
Supposedly, in England they wash their hands before taking a leak, not afterwards.
It ended it with "Depends on where you are the dirtiest", or something to that effect.
I've seen many vehicles that are beyond spotless on top, but I wouldn't...
Don't worry. I keep the undercarriages clean. You know, the parts that actually gets you there and back.
We don't go to car washes, or car shows, but we do drive our cars. Okay, the 'Cats don't get to play in rain and snow, but the rest does (except for her new GT4).
Normally the rain and...
No. no, it hasn't been washed once a year. I bought it late summer of '18 and it has been washed once. About two years ago.
And speaking of fuckin, this is what my girlfriend's TRX looks like since we haven't had any rain in months.
And her new RS6 Avant doesn't look much better. Better, since...
There's really no need to look. When cleaning the surface in preparation for the new filter, it's painfully easy to feel that it's not the flat surface it should be.
No wonder I like my 'Cat. It's actually quite affordable.
No payment, about $50/mo for insurance, and practically no cost for gas.
Okay, the latter is proof that I need to drive it more, but still, it costs me no more than if I had some boring SUV.
A modern, smart, battery charger may not put out anything if hooked up to a bad battery.
You just need to be smarter than the tools you use. Or, use another (dumb) battery instead.
Exactly. That's why I don't understand people who only put some gas in, instead of filling up..."Because it's so expensive."
Well, stopping more often and then getting even more expensive gas won't help any.
Yeah, the early vapor recovery nozzles, for example.
When filling the auxiliary tank on my GMC, those nozzles always resulted in a few gallons ending up on the ground instead of in the tank.
I've seen this one before, but still don't understand it. If their tanks were above ground, and especially if exposed to the sun, it would make some sense, but...
Since ground temps remain constant at as little as 12 feet down, I doubt that the difference in volume is even measurable between...
Security related, as far as parking at a dealer goes.
Today I got the second email from Uconnect about an issue with my '21 Challenger GT, somethings that's been in the works since early March.
They want me to effectively add about 40% onto the current mileage just for the dealer to verify...
