Looking to buy a trailer and need feedback.

I agree. Factory anchor points are often pitiful, and people generally don't bother with looking at what's on the bottom side of a trailer. And even if the correct backing plates are used, they don't do much good if the anchor is bolted to a wood or metal floor that isn't well secured to the...

The Best 911s You Can Buy Today

If it gets delivered when it's snowy, it gets driven in snow. Well, into the garage anyway. Found a photo of her first Turbo S (in the background) which also shows her third Aston Martin going bye bye. Oh, and the guy who brought the latest one also had good stuff in the trailer.

The Best 911s You Can Buy Today

This was her first 911, bought used obviously, which is very unusual for her.

The vehicle kind, or attempts at bagging a female?

The Best 911s You Can Buy Today

No, but I think that's the one she had a "Hellkitten" license plate on (abbreviated of course). Looked funny since it was parked next to the Redeye.

The Best 911s You Can Buy Today

This is probably the last photo of the latest Turbo S, a '20 if memory serves me. It's the one that turned into a GT4. What I really liked about that one was that unbeknownst to my girlfriend I had checked the badge delete on the order form. So it only said "Porsche" on the back, which to the...

2023 being built right before Christmas

Maybe not, but while she had a couple of Turbo S 911s (well, one at a time), my girlfriend still claimed that her lowly 4-banger Cayman, complete with a stick shift, was her favorite car. And I can see why they handle great, despite not having AWD and all kinds of electronic wizardry. I have...

2023 being built right before Christmas

Skip right to the 911 Turbo S. Done. Unless you prefer the Cayman, in which case there are options from a 4-banger to fast versions.

2023 being built right before Christmas

Well, there are two doors, so twice the weight savings right there. What else they saved weight on I don't know. But whatever savings they achieved must be largely offset by that big clothes drying rack on the back.

Yep, but then they ruined the simple functionality by installing power windows.

2023 being built right before Christmas

Should I let you know when my girlfriend is about to get rid of her GT4? Seems like she's about to buy something, and the Cayman is probably the most likely to go.

Nice! You sure wouldn't find that at Tractor Supply. (Sorry, BULL)

2023 being built right before Christmas

I'm not exactly into Porsches, but my girlfriend is. Last week she made noises about getting a 911 Dakar, and the way she optioned it on line (fire extinguisher and floor mats being the only two) it came to $232K. I called our local friendly dealer in Colorado who said they'd likely get two...

Porsche eFuel as clean as EVs?

That would be quite dirty, if including all of an EV's lifetime emissions. Seems to me that regular gas vehicles are already better than EVs in that respect (too).

    1004 HP COPO Camaro Available

Unloading Tesla, then buying Dodge and promote it on Twitter. I wouldn't mind.

Thank you for illustrating what I didn't explain very well.

    1004 HP COPO Camaro Available

Could it be had with a Challenger body, so it wouldn't be so embarrassing to be seen in? And ideally also with a 'Cat drive train.

Those sleeves are really to protect the straps. Macs and others sell fuzzy ones (wool like material) that is meant to be kind to the wheels. Which they seem to be. I have yet to see any imperfections afterwards on any wheels. Those sleeves go on with hook and loop, so easy to put on any kind of...

Looking to buy a trailer and need feedback.

Unfortunately, trailer decking (be it wood or steel) is usually very poorly secured. Enough to keep it in place, but generally not much more. You probably need to tie into the cross members.

Looking to buy a trailer and need feedback.

E-track is the easiest, but if you always trailer the same car, and stop at the same spot, then three stationary anchors per wheel will work just fine. I like E-track since it offers flexibility (for different vehicles) and maybe more importantly, because it can be fastened well to the trailer...
