    Oil change

That is odd. But I just spent a few thousand+ signing up for Radford's 2-day course, so my machinery will be lucky to get used PUP 0W-40 for a while.

    Grand Wagoneer Analysis-(By a Mechanic)

Have no experience with either one. But the Ram 5.7 I had ran just fine. So there.

    Grand Wagoneer Analysis-(By a Mechanic)

Going back and forth to the dealership?

    Oil change

Not for 5.99 months, no. It's also interesting that it doesn't age at all on a dealer's lot, but starts going bad the second somebody buys the vehicle.

    Oil change

It doesn't. But it's better to have clean oil in there than dirty oil. As suggested earlier, simply don't add the new oil until in the spring if the thought of it being in the pan instead of in the bottles is bothersome.

    Oil change

Oil made a difference in my '14 2500 with a 6.4. Somehow I ended up putting Mobil 1 European Formula in it at the first (and early) oil change. And it started ticking on startup. Put the correct oil in it (still the same correct grade) and the ticking stopped.

Stellantis Dominates the Top Ten Slowest Selling Vehicle List

Ah, our traffic lights are mounted on somewhat tall posts. Which works since they don't need to be visible to alligators.

I can. But probably not look down at the screen while looking up at a traffic light. But I'm sure that some can.

So looking at the screen you're not quite ready to go when the light turns green, then?

    Oil change

If condensation could be a problem or not depends on the climate. Here it's common to have 50 degree swings between the high and the low in a day, but I have yet to find evidence of condensation in metal or plastic containers. Also, given the option I'd rather have pure water in there (it'll...

Stellantis Dominates the Top Ten Slowest Selling Vehicle List

I rely on mirrors to know what's back there. To me a backup camera is just an irritant, as in the corner of my eye I can see something changing on the dash when putting a vehicle in Reverse. Yes, I'm getting better at ignoring it, but don't want to lose the instinct of paying attention to...

Mine's an '18. If they still offered them in '35, unchanged, I'd by fine with it. Especially if they could be had with less tech.

To the Bug, or the taxis? They did a major styling change to the Charger, but I much prefer the original. The less tech the better, no matter what vehicle, and fixing up suspensions is easy to do after the fact.

Yeah, but that was before people were complaining about "not different enough from last years model" and "the tech is so outdated (in a three year old model)". But that's just me, a slob who wouldn't have minded if they kept making the Challenger, unchanged, for another 25 years.

Aren't they hybrids? If so they should catch fire by themselves at some point.

    Oil change

My dealer (the owner) also doesn't see a need for it. He knows how I take care of my vehicles. He also knows that other than for a blown up engine, possibly a transmission, I wouldn't want any kind of warranty work anyway. Give me the parts and let me install them. I just don't want to subject...

    Oil change

Yes, it says in the owners manual, but that doesn't make the 6-month rule any less dumb. I have also been known not to always obey the speed limit. Put the car away with fresh oil, then dump that zero mile oil in the spring? That only makes (some) sense if someone cold starts the engine every...

    Oil change

That's what I normally do, but somehow the oil didn't get changed in either one before last winter's hibernation. Even though it wasn't on purpose, it was not surprising to see the lab results come out good after two years. Depending on the mileage, I may go to every other year instead of once...

    Oil change

Too late now, but it's better to change the oil before storing the car. Either way, oil analysis for two 'Cats after two low mileage years (about 500-600 total each) showed that the oil in both was still perfectly good. For at least another 3,000 miles. Of course, both of them are always...
