A door handle? But what bout getting into the car?

Dealership Ran Redeye without oil filter?

That's the least likely scenario, I think. First the dealer has to know it exists, then remove panels to get to it. But that they ignore it could be a good thing. That way they don't break the cooler by not using a wrench to support it when undoing the drain plug.

Dealership Ran Redeye without oil filter?

Could be as simple as double gasket filter install. That seems to happen somewhat frequently, in DIY cases at least.

That was one thing that made me lust for a '69 El Camino...to be able to fix just about anything on it with a Leatherman. (Sorry. That should be Leatherperson these days.)

Taking a break, huh? When I went to Utah this week to pick up a car I stopped three times. Once to take a leak, then at the dealership, and then to get fuel on the way home. That was a 1,100-mile drive. Of course, There were also five involuntary stops in the first 400 something miles. Three...

Dealership Ran Redeye without oil filter?

Reason # 48 not to let other people work on my vehicles. If only I could've sold all the "free" oil changes I've got with various vehicles it would've lowered the cost of oil changes by 50%. But so what? Knowing that it's done right is priceless, I think.

UPDATE Jan 2025 - Small Critters and Cars

Those sticky Tomcat plates are great. Have those at the garage doors' edges and they keep delivering. The outdoor vehicles have cheap battery operated noise and light thingies under the hoods, plus the formal feral cat seems to have eliminated a lot of potential issues. Besides, I'd much...

Meh. You'll be fine. Just bring extra fuses.

Yup, I spent about 10 minutes disabling all kinds of crap on the new (to me) Durango today. That'll come in handy if I drive it today.

Surely you don't suggest putting people through the hardship of having to use a key to open the trunk? If people were that much into doing things themselves we wouldn't have rain sensitive wipers, automatic headlights, etc. Gotta preserve energy while driving to the gym.

There would be no need for "smart guns" if we had smart people.

Well, if you keep the jump box and/or jumper cables in the trunk it's time for a change of plans. Otherwise it's similar to writing down the combination for your safe and putting that note in the safe.

    POST PICTURES OF YOUR DURANGO

This is like Deja Vu all over again. Just with better looking wheels, no sunroof, and missing a couple of cylinders.

They should have put battery connections under the hood. That would simplify things.

You bought a nearly new Rolls Royce?!?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

For top speed runs they need them, blowing from the rear to help offset the worse aerodynamics.

I have no problem with six-bangers. The V6 in the Challenger is more than good enough for what it is, and the (derated) Cummins in the 3500 does the job. At least up to a 39,000 lb. CGVWR. Wouldn't want one in the TRX, though.
