    Man these wheels are big....

So those were OE wheels, that came on your car as delivered? Man, I used to have faith in whatever came stock, but I guess those days are over, too. Well, steel wheels I always expect a bit of run-out from, but not aluminum. This makes me want to throw my '18's stock wheels on the balancer and...

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

That perfectly describes rock crawling. But I don't use my Challenger for that, since the Jeep does it much better. But it won't accelerate anything like my automatic Hellcat.

    Man these wheels are big....

Okay, you started out saying it wasn't balance, which it turned out to be. Then I pointed out that I put my tires and wheels on the balancer as soon as I get a new (or new to me) vehicle, to avoid dealing with vibration issues and to find problems like what you described. Guess I missed the the...

    Man these wheels are big....

And now you know why I balance the tires on a new vehicle as soon as I get it. Yes, the Challengers come with better balance than, say, a Ram, but it's still usually not very good.

I admire those of you who can handle a Brownie box. I'd like to try some time...as long as it isn't my vehicle.

    2019 Redeye with 20k ADM

I missed that. Now it all makes sense. Well, more sense.

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

They are fun to drive, for sure. But not quite in the same way as a Challenger.

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

I dunno. But if it does happen, I'll pluck it out of the garage with the crane. That's easy enough. And by the way, when I feel the urge to not accelerate or drive fast, I take the Peterbilt instead. Its 18-speed satisfies my need for rowing gears.

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

Yeah, well, I only have one road to pick from here by the house. And during peak hours (which is summer, tourist season), there are times when I have to wait at the stop sign for a vehicle to go by. And the automatic is still quicker.

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

Yeah, the manual does give you time to smell the roses, doesn't it? Not only slower, but not even available with 797 hp. Then again, that stick shift does gives you something to do while putsing along in the slow lane, right?

    Exhaust Difference?

I'm happy to report that my '18's exhaust is much louder than my girlfriend's Redeye is. Also, the blower is louder on the '18. Happy, because the '18 is mine.

The Redeye low volume numbers will this make her the sought after one years down the road?

To avoid the Christmas rush, I got our production sheets on the 25th. Turns out that both cars are one-of-ones. That makes them two-of-two, right?

Yeah, but it does say "No hassle, no pressure...ever". That has to be worth something.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

I'm sure glad I'm not using your dealer. Customer Care doesn't even have access to much of what the dealer can pull up...if it's a somewhat competent and willing dealer.

Just a thought as a new guy,

I buy the PUP 0W/40 on sale, usually, and even the SRT filters are cheap, so maybe $60 per year spent on the engine. So far. My most common problem is avoiding speeding tickets, meaning that keeping an eye out for cops is essential. Other than that, I put gas in it and go fast. Simple as that...

    The Official "I ordered" thread

I don't think you should worry at all, Pierre. They seem to have thwarted the thefts, etc., and the newness about these vehicles has surely worn off enough that the yard workers no longer feel that they must step on them.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

I just wondered if you have seen the somewhat lengthy list of status codes, and what they mean. Not all of them are good, by they way. There's one for damaged, and one for missing, if memory serves me.

Just a thought as a new guy,

Why are we defending our reason(s) for buying a Hellcat over a Scatpack on HellcatForum.org. in the first place?? Not that I get why anyone would start a thread here stating that the Scatpack is a better choice, either, but that's just another one of many things I don't understand.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

Do you have the status codes? They're probably on a sticky. I can dig that info up if you don't have it/can't find it.

    The Official "I ordered" thread

There used to be a good way to check via a website, but it's long gone. FCA customer service, whether chat or by calling, is more of a crap shoot. To get good info, use your dealer. I have my dealer trained to email me updates whenever there's a change in status.
