    The Official "I ordered" thread

Almost forgot to post it here: Went and got my little red wagon the other day. Now it's only a painful 496 miles to go before I can enjoy it to its fullest.

    Manual Transmissions Are The Best!

Since I have four shifters in my Jeep, I feel justified to have a few automatics, too.

School me on the difference between 4WD vs AWD.

It's a Ford. How could it not be weird?

I'd say that it's the other way around. It's a 4X4 with full time capability. Interesting that this 4X4 subject came up, as I've been a four wheeler for most of my life and am much more familiar with those mechanicals than I am with what makes my Challenger tick.

I thought I'd wake up the Trackhawk Forum

It's the Velvet Red, and I don't remember seeing a Pearl Red when ordering. It's darker than I thought, unless in sunlight, but that's fine for the stealth factor. Haven't figured out the best way to un-yellow the calipers yet, but the yellow will have to go, somehow. That white stuff is an...

School me on the difference between 4WD vs AWD.

Yep, I think that one issue people had with the manual hubs was/is that they never locked them in before they were needed. And then it was a bit inconvenient to get out in the snow or mud, and somehow that was the vehicle's fault. Ironically, it was considered a sin to drive with the hubs...

Hellcat.org members have moved to Hellcatforum.org

Hate to tell you, Hunter, but there is no such thing as a "cold air intake" for where you live. There might be some kind of "Less than stupid hot" intake, and possible with an enlarged drain to counteract the humidity.

I also have that "on demand" setup" on my '14 1500 Ram, and like the function but not that it uses small buttons to operate. My Cherokee XJ had what I think is the same transfer case, but it was operated with a lever. Ether way, that would be a "full time" 4WD, when in that position. AWD, as in...

I thought I'd wake up the Trackhawk Forum

Alright, alright, since you asked nicely, here's one from where I picked it up and one from at home.

I thought I'd wake up the Trackhawk Forum

How did you guys know? I brought it home yesterday. (Not good) pics to follow.

What features/options would you like to see in the next Hellcat?

I like your unedited version better. With the keg up front it won't block the front license plate I don't have to have. Then again, there's definitely something to be said for obstructing the rear plate.

What features/options would you like to see in the next Hellcat?

How could I forget? The one thing I don't care for is the minuscule fuel tank. Not that I've been able to empty it in 13 minutes, but it sure would be nice to be able to drive for a full day without getting fuel. Twice.

What features/options would you like to see in the next Hellcat?

I know, but couldn't resist. Could blame it on my bad knees, but in reality its the extra horsepower and superior performance that makes me pick the most logical transmission.

What features/options would you like to see in the next Hellcat?

Just bought a spare Razr (I mangle phones fairly frequently) for $45. It makes and receives call, which is all I ask from my phone. I like simplicity. Not to the point motorhead does (manuals) where it reduces performance, but still.

What features/options would you like to see in the next Hellcat?

I'll steal an idea from JRabq, as in steal from Porsche. In my case I'd like to be able to eliminate the touch screen and have buttons/switches for controlling the functions I need and want. A screen has no tactile feel, and requires that I take my eyes off the road to operate it. I really...

Whats your favorite "Sleeper" car of all-time?

This is my favorite sleeper. An MGB, lightened and with a healthy aluminum V8. No V8 badges, scoops, or any of that nonsense, just almost invisible rear fender flares to accommodate wheels and tires almost twice the stock width. It even had a better power to weight ratio than my girlfriend's...

So, who do you know that owns these cars, but isn't an enthusiast?

Haven't figured out what it should go on yet, but have a Police Interceptor badge, just in case,

So, who do you know that owns these cars, but isn't an enthusiast?

I'm afraid you might be right there. I have a set of Husky floor mats for it already...hopefully they'll fit. I could always grind the "Jeep" lettering off of those mud flaps. Already have "4x4" and "Limited" badges ordered. Not completely only for the stealth look, but it will be by far the...

So, who do you know that owns these cars, but isn't an enthusiast?

Meanwhile, I'm trying to find mud flaps for the Trackhawk that doesn't say "Jeep" on them.

Dealer hasn’t been draining my oil cooler

I use a regular wrench, which also works quite well.
