Came across something I'd never seen before today, while shopping for 'Hawk sensors (which may well be the same as for the Challenger).
Anyway, it said that the vehicle should sit for 20 minutes before driving, and the relearn starts.
That could explain a few people's issues, I'd think.
Reminds me of the sounds we used to hear, especially on weekends, when living in CA.
Had a really good visual of the canyon road below, and it was fairly common to hear motorcycles go "waah, waaah, waaaah......thud.
Walked over to see which of the favorite crash spots it had occurred in, then...
Let me point out that I have no first hand experience with the Gen 5 1500. What I've read has been on 2500/3500 diesel forums, where some also has a 1500 as a car. Or sold their diesel and got a 1500.
Also, I haven't really paid attention to what the issues are. Mostly electronics, I think.
Hop...
Yeah, mine look great.
Now that they're no longer on the doors of my 'Hawk, but in a box in the garage.
But I must admit that I added an emblem to the back of it the other day. Where it used to say "Trackhawk" it now says "Limited.
Why? Because it's by far the most limited Jeep I've ever owned.
Well, one reason could be that they are apparently still ironing out various issues with the Gen 5 1500.
Meanwhile, the Gen 4 is a well proven concept.
And personally I would pay extra for the older and better looking version, no matter what.
I don't care for the current model, so I'd start with a Classic Tradesman and add options as needed/wanted.
Although, the new model with the Tradesman black grille is starting to grow on me. For the Classic I'd definitely opt for the chrome appearance package.
Do pay attention to gear ratios...
