    Engine Break-in, Bed-in, Run-in Definitive Guide

In the past five or six years I have picked up almost all our vehicles from dealers ranging from 300 to 450 miles away. Once back home and unloaded from the trailer they first go on the lift for a thorough check, then the break-in can begin. Now if the dealer was only 50 miles away, I might...

    Opinions?

It's starting to sound like all you guys have paved and well plowed driveways.

    Picked up my Redeye today

That must be an oversight on the moderator's part, not having made the Taxi Workers Alliance an honorary member yet.

    Opinions?

And your point is?? I not only lowered a Jeep, but also sectioned it four inches. It was a very fun ride after having ditched the 4-banger and installed a healthy 400 c.i. smallblock. Fun, but so sketchy with its 82-inch wheelbase that even I was a bit afraid to drive it.

Neither did Chargers...before things went to hell.

Wow it’s truly Amazing what Ram has accomplished for the King of Towing!

Yeah, but smooth doesn't really equate to durable when it comes to transmissions. It's been a long time since I didn't tow something with my Aisin equipped 3500 so I really don't remember what it felt like without a trailer ( at only 9,350 lbs.), but I don't recall it shifting badly. Actually...

Wow it’s truly Amazing what Ram has accomplished for the King of Towing!

Many seem to think that it feels and shifts like a pickup transmission...when going to the bank and the ice cream parlor. They want a 3/4 or 1-ton to ride like a Cadillac even when empty, and "shift" like a CVT, too.

Wow it’s truly Amazing what Ram has accomplished for the King of Towing!

You'll be able to use 6th gear without having to go 120 mph, and it'll vibrate you a lot less when going slowly through towns and such since it won't be lugging the engine. You'll like it.

Well it happened...2018 Uconnect thinks my car is in a lake

Hickster, your GPS rightfully should show that you're in a lake. Okay, technically in an ocean. With some buildings, palm trees, alligators, and snakes, added.

2021 is predicted to be the Car Repo Year!

Didn't they say that they are going to forgive car loans, much like student loans, for anything with over 700 hp?

How not to treat your new customers (when ordering a vehicle)

But FCA surely offered counseling, and free usage of a cry closet, right?

How do you punish yourself when hurting your car?

Buy two dozen curb feelers (at full price), or as an alternate punishment, learn to drive?

Well it happened...2018 Uconnect thinks my car is in a lake

Carve it out of the dash, then use the space for a few real 2-inch gauges and some switches.

How many cars have you owned and post a picture

There's something wrong with this site. It won't let me post 213 photos. Oh well, I probably miscounted anyway and it's really closer to 250.

Is it weird to see and old car of yours on the road?

Would you believe that she won't let me forget that it's faster and quicker than my Hellcat? Of course, so is her Hellcat.

Is it weird to see and old car of yours on the road?

Since some of you like Hitler sleds, here are the two that my girlfriend still has - a 911 Turbo S and her measly Cayman. Which is her favorite. She traded the Macan Turbo in on the Trackhawk.

Is it weird to see and old car of yours on the road?

Okay, so back to the more boring original intent then... Yes, I see my old vehicles somewhat frequently. That's what happens when most of them are sold to friends. Sometimes it's nice, as they can become better, but usually I get to see deterioration. Kinda like ex girlfriends, come to think...

Scorpion All- Season tire pressure when cold

I've heard people refer to S-10s as "trucks", and even Trackhawks. Must be something in the water.

Has anyone installed laser jammers in their Hellcat?

Neither would Mickey Mouse or Donald Duck cartoons.
