I'm more concerned with the consistency of a gauge than if the reading is true.
Once finding the pressure that works best, it doesn't much matter to me if the actual pressure is three psi higher or lower.
I can relate. Although, in the past year or so I've managed to let go of six or seven cars, two trailers, and a camper.
Combined with only buying three vehicles during the same period, I'm doing well. For me.
Well, a charge air cooler, or after cooler, can be an intercooler. And it can be the very same physical part.
But as the name strongly implies, for it to be an intercooler it must be between two power adders.
Most of us only have a single compressor, so we don't have intercoolers.
