Can you run the A/C in a Challenger in England and still keep the beer in the back seat warm?

I hear that they're useful for removing humidity. But they have their limits, so the capacity may not be sufficient on a small island, for example.

How does an Englishman know what a sunroof is?!? Fog lights, yes, but a sunroof?

Who here misses the simplicity of a regular cab pick up truck?

It's doesn't fit the description since it's not a pickup, but it is a regular cab. Unless the sleeper counts, but it can easily be removed. Simplicity? Well absolutely nothing is automated in any way. Crank windows, stick shift (of course), and even the air powered windshield wipers are...

    Uconnect 18.43.01 OTA Update

Today the almighty Uconnect monster reared its ugly head when I drove my Ram 1500 some 100 feet, from the carport to the garage. It wanted to schedule a time when I wouldn't be driving for a while. Okay, since the screen wouldn't disappear and I'd be busy installing better fog lights, I let the...

2019 Hellcat Challenger dual stripe revision

I wouldn't have ordered stripes, but that car was off the lot. And over time I've started liking them, because they are so subtle. Kind of like ghost flames. Along the same lines, I try to have my car not stand out. Getting Granite was part of that. Debadging was another. In my mind, the more...

And I like them on Granite because you can't readily see them.

Who here misses the simplicity of a regular cab pick up truck?

Unbeknownst to me, until now, this must be why I'be been lusting for a regular cab Ram 3500, with the 200+ inch wheelbase.

My dealer said that my ordered car would arrive in 4-6 weeks. It has been seven weeks now and FCA chat tells me it could be several more days! I can't believe a car that costs so much isn't already delivered. Help, what should I do?!?

Through the trunk. Or if you're lucky, through the sunroof. The latter has to be opened before you run the battery down.

2019 Hellcat Challenger dual stripe revision

Which reminds me...I have a set of black stripes still in the box, meant to go on the '19. Doesn't look like it's going to happen (long story), so if interested, please PM me.

It's raining, but my automatic wipers won't come on. Do I need to back out of the garage first?

Who here misses the simplicity of a regular cab pick up truck?

Having overdosed on crew cabs over the years, when my '17 3500 cab and chassis didn't run right, I ordered an '18 regular cab. Sure enough, on the way to get the '18, the '17 started running better. Put about 1,000 miles on the regular cab before selling it to a friend. And I do miss it at times.

The clock in my Hellcat is one hour off after daylight savings ended. Does that mean I have to pull over for an hour and wait for the automatic headlights to come on?

Since my Hellcat doesn't have adaptive cruise control, is there some way to avoid rear ending other traffic?

As a matter of fact, yes she does.

Damn you RAM make a SRT Truck you have all the right Motors to make it happen!!!!!

Thanks for the OE tire info, I'll read up on those. My concern with run flats is the extra unsprung and rotating mass. When I managed to lose 10 lbs. per corner on my Golf R (and it didn't even have run flats, just overly large diameter wheels) it was definitely a noticeable improvement in...

Damn you RAM make a SRT Truck you have all the right Motors to make it happen!!!!!

Thanks, Tannehill, that's encouraging. It'll come with the "all-terrains", but since I don't know what tire it is I don't know how good, bad, or indifferent it may be. I'm looking at getting narrower wheels and tires for winter use, just in case. It's the slush that can be an issue for me when...

Damn you RAM make a SRT Truck you have all the right Motors to make it happen!!!!!

Umm, I don't. But I recently ordered one. Why? Largely because 700+ hp vehicles are addictive, but also because it'll be a practical car for me. It'll replace my Ram 1500 (with a camper shell) for a couple of years. At least that's the plan. That 1500 is my all-weather mobile/El Camino, but...
