Maybe I've just been lucky, but the four Optimas I put in my toy hauler in '99 have never seen an AGM "tuned" charger or maintainer.
They've been fed by solar panels (with a controller, of course) when on the road, or a basic BatteryMINDer maintainer when parked. Well, since '13 it's been solar...
Umm, yeah. Didn't I write that in the post you quoted?
And to nitpick, it gets changed to DC before it leaves the alternator, not in the cable going to the battery.
Unless you swapped in a generator, your alternator puts out AC, right? Hence its name.
Which is then converted to DC, much like with a charger maintainer.
It's not the four points, as much as what they're all tied to.
There's a reason why post cars were favored for drag racing, giving six connections to that common point.
When I did the bi-weekly "commute" through Arizona, there was a Camaro that I often had to play cat and mouse with. Good thing I wasn't in a 'Cat, or I would've been in trouble.
I hate it when people slow down, presumably because I came up on them so quickly. Then it can take a while before I can pass them.
2-door cop cars? Wasn't there a couple pictured in earlier posts?
