The deer aren't afraid of our dog, but he has no interest in them. And more elk just showed up, earlier than yesterday evening. Notice that some are bedded down.

It's very nice, actually. If I leave early, like when needing to be 1,000+ miles away before a business closes for the day, there are times when I can go 150 or so miles before seeing another vehicle. Of course, that doesn't mean I don't see elk and deer, but those are usually friendlier than...
