Looking to buy a trailer and need feedback.

I've had good luck with Renogy controllers. One of them even lets me pick between 12 and 24 Volts.

All you EV fans - Colorado now offering a combination of 26500 towards EVs.

They're working on that, south of Colorado Springs.

Hail the Coloradians! No,wait, that didn't come out right. They already get plenty of hail.

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

Not having compared rotor sizes, I know from experience that a 2500 has more effective brakes than a 1500. Also, it's really rare that I use the brakes on my 3500, except when coming to a complete stop, since the exhaust brake handles up to 39,000 lbs. GCVWR even on grades exceeding 8% just...

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

My favorite WD hitches are the Reese Dual Cam and the Husky (can't remember the model name of that one) with active sway control. That both help keep the trailer and tow vehicle in line makes a big difference, especially when passing tractor trailers with a lightly laden or empty enclosed...

    FS '23 Durango Hellcat

Supposedly the car came off the train on 8-3. Hopefully it was driven off, and didn't fall off. Might go to Utah later this week.

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

My '14 came with 20-inch wheels which I quickly changed to 17s and put Michelin LTX(?) on. That was primarily to get better overall gearing and it really woke it up, allowing it to get into 8th gear without having to do 110 mph. The '21 had Goodyear Wranglers on it, which seems to be a decent...

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

My experiences have been with a '14 and a '21. I won't even count the fiascos with a Dakota and an '05 GM. Anyway, as somebody mentioned earlier, the tow vehicle can't be too large or heavy. That I agree with 100%. Having taken way too many chances in life, but somehow lived to tell about them...

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

Ouch. That does not sound like fun, at all. I generally left by 4 AM or earlier to miss most of the L.A. traffic. Coming back home could be a different story, but sure did help hone my shifting skills.

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

Bobtailing, or driving a tractor trailer in general? I thought it was great fun, and a superb learning experience. Didn't know a thing about tractor trailers before buying mine. And figuring stuff out, including how to drive it, was a challenge I'm glad I decided to take on.

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

Ah, that's where we differ. I only have experience with a 14-wheeler (okay, 22 when pulling doubles) and never had any professional training. Can't even say that I learned on the job, as I never did drive for anyone, or commercially. But then you know how much fun it isn't to not have a...

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

I've never questioned that a 1500 can pull a trailer. It's the safety aspect of it that scares me. A light tow vehicle with small brakes and tiny mechanical components is not what I like to tow with. Sure, if it was a Kia, Tesla, or even a Charger, back there I wouldn't feel so bad about it...

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

That's a bit odd. When I did a test run (against better knowledge) with my 1500 pulling an empty 16' flatbed, it noticed the trailer. And the already less than stellar fuel economy took a dump. Or did you not notice that the trailer was there? That seems to be common, unfortunately, but I doubt...

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

Air suspension is great, but with a 1/2-ton a weight distributing hitch is almost mandatory. Well, technically it is, according to Ram.

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

It can't possibly be any softer than the marshmallows...err, springs, on a 1/2-ton..

Questions for those of you that trailer your Cats

Whatever you do keep in mind that two wrongs (1500 and Ecodiesel) do not make a right.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

Doesn't sound (no pun intended) as a lucrative business model for a taxi.

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

But did your passengers also don't mind the (needless) noise?

What did you do to your Hellcat today?

I can see why you'd want the 1/4 to go by quicker. Noisy gears are no fun, so the sooner you're done the better.
