Leave before sunrise. Just like with wimmin.

    911 Turbo Coupe For Sale

That's what my girlfriend has now, but not in black obviously. She likes the handling of the Caymans over the 911s.

    911 Turbo Coupe For Sale

You don't see the exterior when driving, do you? Exactly. And that's how people can drive Chargers.

    911 Turbo Coupe For Sale

Yeah, that's where a lot of my money goes.

    Well, at least it's not a V6.

I sure wouldn't mind if they kept making the Challenger exactly as is. Even if it eventually would only come with the 3.6. That'd still be better than most the modern crap.

If by platform you mean basic design you could say that the Charger/Challenger has been around for a really long time. Front engine cars are an even older concept.

They already have those, too. And you'd be surprised at the mpg a Turbo S can deliver, even when driven fast.

    911 Turbo Coupe For Sale

True, but they're basically defying physics.

I'm not exactly a fan, either, but having been subjected to them for several years now, I can't help but admire the engineering. Making a rear engine car that'll hang with, or beat, C8s in racing, for example. And for us regular folks, the Turbo S's amazing performance...in a car that can be...

    911 Turbo Coupe For Sale

That's probably because most are ordered by dealers, not buyers. And the dealers all know that things like lit door sills are a must on a high performance car, for example.

    911 Turbo Coupe For Sale

It's been three years or so since I ordered one, but the option list probably hasn't changed much. That means you can go on Porsche's web site and build one to your liking, much like with Build and Price. That'll give you an idea of what's available, and at what cost.

Those center locks wheels alone are responsible for a fair amount of money. Hell, if memory serves me, a shiny gas cap is over $300...and it's hidden behind a door anyway. It's easy to spend an extra $40-50K on options, although there are performance enhancing ones, too.

    2024 Ram 1500 Debuts With Hurricane 6

Well, it shouldn't take more than two minutes to take a peek at the pad thickness through the wheel. Although, I have never found that worn pads affected brake performance. Not until there's metal to metal contact anyway.

    2024 Ram 1500 Debuts With Hurricane 6

That's a lot better than the 15% rate on Ecodiesels. A friend of mine delivers trailers, up to 30,000 lbs. worth at a time (stacked), for a manufacturer. He drives enough to buy a new Ram every four or five years. That's normally at just shy of 500,000 miles. He has yet to have to replace any...

    2024 Ram 1500 Debuts With Hurricane 6

By any chance, did the dealer prep include spraying goop on the tires?

    2024 Ram 1500 Debuts With Hurricane 6

So Gator Dude (aka DavidKFla), I've had two pickups with crummy brakes. With the first one, a GM dually, I had to hit the brakes hard on the way home (SoCal traffic) before bedding those brakes in. Next was a Ram that a shop (don't ask) put the rotors back on with greasy gloves, then never...

    2024 Ram 1500 Debuts With Hurricane 6

I certainly didn't need one, but after checking out the size of the drivetrain parts after bringing my girlfriend's TRX home, it impressed me enough to order one for myself. My official excuse was that it could come in handy in an unexpected snow storm, or for getting around a road closure. And...

You mean that they should build a TRX? (Speaking of marginal brakes)

You should try a Cummins. They do quite well for a straight Six, I think. Even the detuned version in my cab and chassis does okay. But then, I have yet to exceed 39,000 lbs. total weight.
